Archdeacon Wills 1742 #64, Malew, of Jane Bridson of Ballavarvaine, Malew:

‘KK Malew, November 25th, 1742: This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of Jane Bridson of Ballavarvaine of KK Malew being of perfect mind and memory at the making thereof. First she recommended her soul to God and her body to Christian burial. Item, she bequeathed to all persons that could any way claim any properly to her effects six pence legacy to exclude them. Item, she desired her son Robert to take care of her during her life. Lastly, she nominated and appointed her said son Robert Bridson sole executor of all the rest of her goods moveable and immoveable whatsoever. Witnesses: Ewan Skelly, Robert Lewn.

The executor is sworn in Court in form of law and has given pledges vizt., the witnesses of the will.’
