Archdeacon Will 1742 #82 German, of Grace Shimmin als Woods

of Ballabooy, German, died 29 December 1742: "KK German, 1742: The last will and testament of GRACE SHIMMIN ALS WOODS of Ballabwooy who departed this life the 29th of December, being of sound & perfect mind & memory at the making thereof as follows:
First She committed her soul to God and her Body to Christian burial.
Itm, She left and bequeathed to her SON & HEIR HUGH SHIMMIN her part of the bedsteads in the house, her part of the cupboard, her part of all the wooden vessels, with one sheet, and a new pewter dish as legacy.
Itm, She left to her DAUGHTER IN LAW CHRISTIAN SHIMMIN ALS LACE the last gown that she made, with her part of the old bedclothes after her HUSBAND JOH. SHIMMIN's death.
Itm, She left to her SON JOHN SHIMMIN twenty shillings, a sheet and fledding or twilled blanket.
Itm, she left to her DAUGHTER GRACE CANNEL ALS SHIMMIN a gold ring, her shaped clothes both linen & woolen, with a sheet.
Itm, She left to her GRANDCHILDREN a crown each.
Itm, She left to her servant maid CHRISTIAN SHIMMIN a petticoat that she commonly wore and to the other maid ANNE CANNEL a smock.
Lastly, She constituted her loving HUSBAND JOHN SHIMMIN whole & only Executor of all the rest of her goods moveable & immoveable. Witnesses present: John Shimmin X, Wm Gawn X, jurati.

THE EXECUTOR IS SWORN in Court in form in Law and has given pledges vizt, the witnesses of the Will. Solvit 12d."
