Archideaconal Will 1741 #144, Andreas, of Joney Teare

The last will and testament of JONEY TEAR made about the 17th of March 1740, being of sound mind & memory at ye making thereof.
Imprs, She committed her soul to God, & body to Christian burial.
Itt, She bequeathed to her HUSBAND the bed & bed-clothes.
Itt, To her DAUGHTR CATHR all her shap'd linen and woolen clothes, together with her part of the house-hold stuff; and her part of the linen in the house to be equally between her HUSBAND & DAUGHTR CATHRINE.
Itt, Thomas Lace, one of the witnesses, declares that she left a sheep to each of her GRAND-CHILDREN; & that she bequeath'd her part of ye purchas'd land to her DAUGHTR CATHRINE.
Itt, Jane Kneal, the other witness, declares that to ye best of her apprehension ye Testatrix left her part of ye purchas'd land equally between her HUSBAND & DAUGHTR CATHRINE.
Lastly, She nominated & appointed her HUSBAND JOHN TEARE and foresd DAUGHTR CATHR joint and lawful Execrs of all ye rest of her goods movable & immovable whatsoever. To ye witnesses 6d each. Witnesses: Thomas Lace, Jane Kneal, jurati.

THE EXECURS ARE SWORN in Court in form of Law, as also to be just in the Division."
