Archdeacon Wills 1732 #4, Braddan, of Ellinor Oates als Cannell:

"Braddan, 1732: We the subscribing witnesses do declare and will depose that about six or seven years ago we were called also and desired by Ellinor Oates als Cannell to bear witness to her last will and testament, which she declared as followeth: First, she committed her soul to God and her body to Christian burial. Item she left to her grandson James Oates her part of a cloth. Lastly, and appointed and constituted her two daughters Catharine Cannell als Oates and Ellinor Lewn als Oates joint and sole Executrices of all the rest of her goods immoveable and immoveable whatsoever. She left to her son James Oates six pence legacy. Witnesses: Wm Gell, Edward Christian. Robert Lewn husband of Ellinor one of the executrices sworn in Court according to law and gave pledges the witnesses of the will.

May 22, 1732, William Cannell husband of Catharine sworn in form of law and gave pledge William Quayle."
