Archdeacon Will 1731 #3 Braddan of Mrs. Susannah Murrey als Patten of Douglas, wife of Mr. John Murrey

I SUSANNA MURREY ALIAS PATTEN of Douglas being of sound and perfect mind and memory and desirous to xxxxx all my worldly concerns in order to a more vigilant preparation for xxxx ---lution and departure out of this life, of which, I pray God to make xxxx continually mindful, do make, and ordain this my last will and testament in manner following:
First, I commend my soul into the hands of my Creator hopeing by xxxx and through the merits, and intercession of Christ my Redeemer to xxxxx remission of my sins, and to inherit everlasting happiness. And my xxxxx leave to be decently interred in the earth, in hopes of its joyful xxxxx and reunion to my soul at the great and final day of recompense. And as concerning all my temporal estate of what kind or nature so ever xxxx and declare as follows:
First, I bequeath to the poor of Douglas and KK Braddan the sum of xxxx pounds to be disposed of as my Executor shall think fit.
Item, I leave xxx the new Executed poor house of the Town of Warrington, the place of [my navity ?]-----ty, the sum of forty pounds.
Item, I leave to my dear and loving [BROTHERS] and SISTER vizt: THOMAS, HUGH, WILLIAM, and DORCAS the sum of twenty xxxx each, and to my GODSON DAVID KELLEY five pounds legacy.
Item, [I leave] to my dear CHILDREN vizt: JOHN, WILLIAM, THOMAS, ROBERT, ELINOR, SUSANNA and ELIZABETH, to each of them the sum of five hundred pounds, the Interest of which, to be paid them yearly after they arrive at the age of twenty one years, and the principal to be paid them when they shall be dis----- in marriage, or otherwise, with the approbation, and consent of my xxxx and loveing Husband, or his Executor. But in case any of my said children dye, or dispose of themselves otherwise than with the approbation and consent, as above, my will is that they Legacy I have bequeathed to him or her, principal & Interest, be divided among the other children.
And lastly, I constitute, and appoint my most affectionate dear, loving HUSBAND sole Executor of all the rest of my goods moveable and immoveable whatsoever, To whom also, next under God, I xxxxx the tuition, and guardianship of my children. In witness whereof I the said SUSANNA MURREY have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal this Eleventh day of February 1730/31, SUSANNA MURREY.
