Archdeacon Wills 1728/9 #37, Malew, of Marjery Quay als Qualtrough, died 2 January 1728/9:

"KK Malew: 1728/9: The last will and testament of Margery Quay als Qualtrough who deceased the 2nd of January anno predicto. First, she committed her soul to God and her body to Christian burial. Item, she bequeathed to Thomas Moore’s wife 20 shillings, and to her other children, viz. Robert, Edward, Catharine, Isabel, and Anne 6 pence apiece, and the said legacy to any other that could claim any title to her goods. Item, she bequeathed her cow to her daughter Margaret. Item, she declared that Thomas Waterson the Sumner owed her 15 pence, and that the house rent, due from Mrs. Stevenson, was to be paid on Mayday. Lastly, she constituted her two daughters Amy and Margaret Quay joint Executrices of all the rest of her goods and chattels whatsoever. Witnesses: John Keniagh, John Quinney. The Executrices sworn in Court, and gave in pledges John Quinney and John Corrin."
