Archdeacon Wills 1728/9 #41, Malew, of John Quayle of Clychur, died 11 January 1728/9:

"This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of John Quayle of Clycurr in the parish of KK Malew who departed this life about the 11th of January last 1728/9; and being in sound perfect mind and memory at the making hereof but sick and weak in body. First, he committed his soul to Almighty God and his body to Christian burial. Item, he debarred all friends and relations with 6 pence each legacy that would claim any right to any part or parcel of his effects whatever, or any person or child that would endeavor to break this his last will to be likewise debarred with 6 pence legacy. Lastly, he nominated constituted and appointed his daughter Margrett Quayle junior whole Executrix of all his goods moveable and immoveable of any kind whatever. Witnesses: William Clerk, Thomas Clerk.

The Executrix sworn in Court, & gave pledges, John Cain & Nicholas Shimmin. The inventory within a month."
