Archdeacon Wills 1725/6 #105, Malew, of William Taggart of Clychur beg, Malew,died 17 Dec 1725:

"Malew 1725: This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of William Taggart, of the parish of KK Malew who departed this life about the 17th December last 1725, who committed his soul to God and his body to Christian burial. First he bequeathed to his two youngest children and the child that was abearing yet unborn the sum of twelve pounds equally betwixt them, and in case the inheritance came to one of the said three, that child to whom it comes is to have none of the said twelve pounds, and in case any of them should die, their part to fall to the other child, and the heir to be utterly debarred. Item, he bequeathed to his son and heir the new Intack, and the crop of corn and all the husbandry gears, besides whxxx husbandry gears and crop will become due at the decease of the decedent’s mother he bequeath to him, all to which his wife gave consent. He left likewise to his said son and heir two sheep, and his part of the team, & whatever will become due. Lastly, he constituted and appointed his loving wife Exeuctrix of all the rest of his goods whatevermoveable and unmoveable, and the Estate to her until the heir will come to age. He appointed his brother Robert & John Caine supervisors over his children. [signed her mark] Ellinor Taggart als Quine. Witnesses: John Cannerey, John Caine.
