The last will & Testamt of Mr Wm Tyldesley
the Friary
, who being weak in body but of
[go]od and perfect memory : First he nomina=
[t]ed and appointed his two daughters (viz)
[E]llinor & Jane Tyldesley executors of all
[] goods. Itm he bequeathed to his mother []
[Har]rison a choice cow. Itm to the poor of
the parish a bowl of barley Itm to
the rest of his children 6d legacy dated
[]ry 25th 1722

The testator declared
[] the Dunghill shd be prized
[] the benefitt of his executor

The witnesses are sworn in Court
& being examined, by vertue of their oath

legacy to the rest of his children
Mr Parr, & Catherine Cubbon
declare, yt they understood
+ apprehended him, as follows
vizt Mr Parr having expostulated
with him touching the unreasonable=
ness of making only Ellinr and
Jane Exrs and what he would do
with his son in Dublin, + wt harm
he had done, the testator made no
answer. And Catherine Cubon
also telling him, yt Anne the youn=
gest child had never offended him,
he answered, I leave Anne to her
mother's care, let her do by her,
as she pleases: By all wch they
understood him to have excluded ye rest
of the children with 6d apiece legacy

Cath Cubon X Robt Parr

Ellinr Tyldesley, one of the Exrs is
sworn in court, & so is her mother
& brother Richard in behalf of ye
other Excr & the other child under
age : And they are to bring in
a perfect inventory at the next
Candlemas Court.

It is to be remembered, yt when
Jane arrives at 14 years of age,
she & the other excrs are to appear in court, that
it may be considered wt proportion
of their father's goods ye Excrs will
think fit to allow to their three
brothers & sister Anne ; by reas=
son of the testatr did not explain
himself touching the excluding the
other children with 6d legacy as plainly as usual.
