Archdeacon Will 1721 #29, Andreas, of Alice Quark als Crebbin, died 2nd April 1721:

"KK Andrews: This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of Alice Quark als Crebbin who departed this life about the 2nd of April 1721, being in perfect mind and memory at the making of it. She left to her three daughters vizt., Cathrine, Bahey & Joney Quark twenty six shillings amongst them. Item, she left her part of the Croft to her eldest daughter Mally Quark, in the nature of inheritance after the death of her husband John Quark, who is to enjoy all the said Croft during his life, and he has consented to leave his part of the said Croft to his eldest Daughter Mally by way of inheritance after his decease. Item, she declared that if there would be more money given for the parcel or field called Crebbin’s Croft, the said money should be given to her two youngest daughters. She left her own wheel to her eldest daughter Mally, and the other wheel to her daughter Cathrine. Lastly, she appointed and constituted her loving husband sole and lawful Executor of all the rest of her goods moveable and immoveable whatever, with 6 pence to the witnesses apiece. And the sheep to be betwixt her husband and eldest daughter Mally.

Witnesses: Joney Moor, John Keig.

The husband the Executor is sworn in form of Law, and has consented to the Will. Pledges according to Law are Nicholas Cowley and Stephen Lace.

October 27, 1721: Philip Fargher enters a claim against the Executor of Alice Quark als Crebbin for 21 shillings 2 pence &c. Acknowledged by the Executor."
