Archdeacon Will 1717/18 #61, Malew, of Thomas Taubman

of Bowling Green, Malew, made 10 January 1717/18: "Thomas Taubman late of the Bowleing Green, being sick and weak in body but of good and perfect memory 10th January 1717/18 did declare his last will and testament in presence of the subscribing witnesses.

First, he committed his soul to God and body to Christian burial.
Item, he willed and declared that his dear and loving wife should have all his goods, chattels, credits and effects during her natural life; and after her decease to descent unto his son Mathew Taubman unless she thought fit to let him enjoy them sooner.
Lastly, he cut off all others who might claim any part of his Executorship six pence apiece legacy.

Witnesses: Henry Kermod, Philip Quirk, Robert Maddrell.

The wife is sworn in Court according to the will. Pledges form of xxx Mr. Robert Maddrell."
