Archdeacon will 1715 #27, Jurby, of Joney Gawne als Caine, died 2 Apr 1715:

"Jurby: This is affirmed to be the last will and testament of Jony Gawn als Cain who departed this life the 2nd April 1715, being of good and perfect memory. First, she committed her soul to God and her body to Christian burial. Item, she left to her daughter Jony Gawn a pair of sheets, a blanket, her black petticoat, and her sea apron. Item, she left to Ann Gawn of the Pollaugh her hood. Item, she left to Margret Gawn one lamb or hog. Item, she left to her son Dollin Gawn half the looms. Item, she left to her son Daniel Gawn 6 pence legacy. Lastly, she constituted & appointed her three chilren vizt, Philip, Jony, & Ellinor Gawn, her true and lawful Executors of all the rest of her goods moveable and unmoveable of what sort soever. To the witnesses of the will 6 pence apiece legacy &c. Witnesses: Daniel Birrag, Margaret Comish als Clark.

Two of the Executors vizt, Philip & Ellin are sworn in Court in form of Law, & to be true to the otherExecutor. Pledges Thomas Stean & John Kneal."
