Archdeacon Will 1711/2 #20, Malew, of Cleave Stevenson of Castletown

"In the name of God, amen. I Cleave Stevenson of Castletown being sick in body, but of perfect mind and memory, do make this my last will and testament in manner following.
First, I commit my soul to God, hoping through his mercy and his merits of my blessed Saviour and Redeemer to obtain the full and free pardon of all my sins, and to inherit everlasting life, and my body I leave to be decently interred in KK Arbory at the discretion of my Executrix hereafter named.
Item, I will that all the money expended towards my care whether in Ireland or in this Country as also all my funeral charges be fully paid and satisfied.
Item, I leave to the poor of KK Arbory twenty shillings to be distributed at the discretion of the Reverend Mr. Robinson and my brother Stevenson, and ten shillings to the poor of Castletown to be distributed at the discretion of the Reverend Mr. Woods, Mr. Ross and Mr. Makon within two months after my decease.
Item, I leave to my sister Mary Griffith five pounds, to my sister Jane Allen three pounds, to my sisters Catherin & Margrett three pounds, to my brother Stevenson twenty shillings, to my brother Griffith twenty shillings and to my brother Allen twenty shillings. And I leave to my sister Gibbons and my sister Elliot ten shillings each if they shall call for it.
Item, I leave to the Reverent Mr. Walker a guinea, and I desire that he will be pleased to preach my funeral sermon, and to the Reverend Mr. Ross I leave ten shillings.
Lastly, I constitute and ordain my ever honoured mother (in consideration of her great kindness) my sole Executrix of all the rest of my goods moveable and immoveable whatsoever left me by my father or fallen to me by the death of my brother Richard and sister Alice, or to which I have a right any manner of way. And it is my will that my Executrix shall be at liberty to pay the legacies above mentioned at any time she shall think most convenient within seven years after my decease, excepting what I have appointed for the poor.
