Archideaconal Will 1705 #60, Andreas, of Gilbert Teare

This is affirmed to be the last will of GILBERT TEAR, who departed this life about ye 6th of Janry 1705, being of perfect mind & memory at ye making thereof.
First he committed his soul to God & his Body to Xtian Burial.
To his GRANDDAUGHTER JONEY TEAR his part of a cow.
To JOHN TEAR 6d legacy.
To JANE TEAR 6d legacy.
To MICH: COWLE 6d legacy.
To DAN: TEAR his part of an heifer wch was in his own hands.
Lastly he appointed PATRICK & JOHN TEARE his true & joint Execrs of all ye rest of his goods moveable & immoveable whatsoever.
To his GRANDSON JOHN TEAR he left ye Croft as heirship, he being ye fourth tenent. Testes: Mich: Cowle, Dan: Tear, jurati.

JOHN TEAR being under age his FATHER PATRICK is sworn in form of Law. Probatum est & Solvit 1s.

THE INVENTORY IS GROSS give in by PATRICK one of ye Execrs amounts in ye whole to 00 pounds : 15 shillings : 00 pence. The rest of ye goods to pay debts. Pledges given in by PATRICK are ye Witnesses of ye Will."
