Wm Corrin perished by water in
the kingdom of England about the 10th
of May last intestate, whereof the
court having intelligence hath decreed
his four children viz Alice, John,
Wm & Catherine Corrin sole & joynt
admrs of all his goods moveable &
immoveable whatsoever : Wm & Cath
being under age & Jo not yet capable of
taking charge of the goods The widow
& Alice are sworn in form of law,
& a legacy decreed als to the said widow
upon sight of the inventory
Decretum est & solvit 2s 10d
The goods of the 3 youngest children are
in the mother's hands who hath given
in pledges Mr David Christian & Capt

Huddleston in behalf of his wife Katherine
doth herby acknowledge the receipt of all such
goods as became due to them by the death of their
father William Corrin late of the town of
Douglas and that from the hands of their mother
Ann Corrin of the said town

This First of January 1702
Articles of agreement covenated and concluded on between
Ann Corrin alias Moore of the towne of Douglas widdow
with the consent and assent of her daughter Alice Corrin
and John Corrin her son being all the children obtained
to age for and in behalf of themselves and the other
two ? children under age on the one part
And Edward Faile of Ramsey and his wife Alice Faile alias Corrin
daughter to the late deceased Willm Corrin of the above
towne of Douglas on the other partie wittnesseth
that shee the above sd Ann Corrin widdow with the []
of her children above mentioned is to give in hand to the 
sd Edward Faile and Alice his wife the full and [] sum
of eleaven pounds ten shillings sterling: she the sd Alice
being a daughter to the above Willm Corrin deceased by
a former wife and that the sd eleaven pounds ten shillings
is to [] the sd Edward Faile and his wife with what
they have alreadie recd i there fathers lifetime from
[] dues and demands that ever fell due to her the sd
by the death of her owne mother and lickewise whatever
should fall due to her by the death of her father
and likewise if it please god to take to his mercie either of the
children underage before they attaine to age that they the abovesd
Edward faile and Alice his wife in consideration of the above sume
in hand pd to them are not to make suit or claime to any
parte of the goods of such as them as dys till they arrive
to ye yeares of willing their owne goods. Further that
the above Ann Corrin widdow and Alice her daughter with
John her son and upon the above sad reasons to cleare
the above Edward Faile and his wife for being concerned
for the sd children under age either for theire persons or
goods and this each parties have bound themselves to [] in the penaltie
of twenty three pounds sterling the one half to use
of our Honble Lord and the other half to the parties []
as wiiness our hands and seals the day and yeare above
written
