Archdeacon Will 1700/1 #49, Andreas of William Tear,

buried about 29 Nov 1700: "Andreas: This is affirmed to be the last will of William Teare who was buried about the 29th of November 1700, being in good mind and memory.

First, he commended his soul to God and body to Christian burial.
Item, he left to his son Patrick 2 shillings.
Item, to the said Patrick 2 shillings more in lieu and consideration of some corn that was betwixt.
Item, to his son Thomas a barrel.
Item, to his son Patrick his part of the fishing nets.
Item, he left to Patrick’s children a lamb or two if there were so many.
Item, to John Kneen a sheep.
Item, he nominated and appointed his daughter Jony Executrix of all his goods whatsoever.
Item, to Michael Cowl 6 pence.

Witness: Michael Cowl.

The Executrix at age is sworn in form of Law.

Pledges in form of Law.

This will is proved in conxxx particum.

The Inventory of the within William Tear and Margt Gawn his wife amounts 2:16, which is in the hands of the Executrix within mentioned and hath given pledges in form of Law Michael Cowl & Patrick Crinnill."
