ROBERT ALLEN departed this life about the 1st xxxx last intestate whereof the Church having intexxx hath decreed his two CHILDREN vizt., THOMAS and JANE sole and joint Administrator of all his goods moveable and unmoveable whatsoever, the next of kin vizt., THOMAS ALLEN, SAMUEL ALLEN, ELIZABETH and ROBERT CHRISTIAN supervisor and a legacy to the wife upon sight of the Inventory.

ALL THE SUPERVISORS excepting Elizabeth are sworn in Court in form of Law as also the wife.

APRIL 23, 1720: I ACKNOWLEDGE to have this day received from my STEPFATHER and MOTHER JOHN CORLETT AND MARGARET CORLETT the full and just sum of forty nine pounds nine shillings and three pence farthing, being the whole of my part of goods due to me by the death of my own deceased FATHER ROBERT ALLEN; For which sum of 49 pounds 9 shillings and 3 pence farthing, I do hereby fully acquit and discharge my above STEPFATHER AND MOTHER, As witness my name the day and year above mentioned. FEBRUARY 24TH, 1724/5: RECEIVED THIS DAY and before from my FATHER IN LAW JOHN CORLET of Cleonagh the full sum of fifty pounds sterling, being the goods due to JANE CALLISTER ALS ALLEN my deceased wife, and the portion promised me in Contract Bargain: of which said sum, and all other claims and demands in that behalf, I do hereby acquit exonerate and discharge him the said JOHN CORLET his heirs executors administrators and assigns fully and amply by these presents.
