Archdeacon Wills 1699/1700,

Presentment dated 18 January 1699/1700, of John Kelly of the Airy, by Mr. Henry Norris, Vicar of KK Michael:

"At a Consistory Court held in KK Michael Church the 18th of January 1699, before the Right Reverend Father in God Thomas Lord Bishop of Man, Mr. Sam: Wattleworth & Mr. Robert Parr Vicar Generals. The difference betwixt Mr. HENRY NORRIS Vicar of KK Michael & JOHN KELLEY of the said Parish of the Airy, being this day heard in Court, concerning the said KELLY's tithes. It is ordered that the said JOHN KELLY shall for the future pay his tyth in kind. To which if he refuse to give obedience, he is by the Sumner or soldier to be committed into St Germans Prison there to remain until he submit of Law.
