Archdeacon Will 1696 #34 book 2 Lezayre, of Margaret Cottier, died 20 February 1696/7:

"Lezayre, July the 8th 1697: This is affirmed to be the last will, and testament of Margret Cottier who was sick in body but of perfect memory at the time of the making of this will, who departed this life the 20th of February 1696/7 as followeth. She bequeathed her clothes linen and woolen to Mrs. Isabel Parr, AND Margaret Kneale betwixt them, and Mrs. Parr to have the better share of them. She constituted and appointed Mary Parr whole executrix of all the rest of her goods moveable and immoveable whatsoever &c. Item, being after the time of the making of this will what she would leave to her brother and sisters, she said that she would leave them nothing except six pence legacy. Witnesses: John Christian, Sarah Gill, jurati.

The Executrix being underage, Mr. Robert Parr (the father) is sworn in Court in form of Law. Probatum est et Solvit.

The Inventory brought in by the xxxxxx amounts to 0 pounds 15 shillings 6 pence. The price of a cow to be added. Pledges in form of law Edw: Gill."
