Archdeacon Will 1691/2 #4, Braddan of Margaret Gelling als Kermode, made 20 Apr 1691:

"Bradan, April the 20th 1691: In the name of God amen. I MARGTT GELLING ALIAS KERMOT do make this my last will and testament in manner and form following. First, I bequeath my soul to God, and my body to Christian burial. Item, I leave to the poor a firlet of mault, and what quantity of meal, my Executor thinks fit to be distributed among the poor. Item, I leave to ISABELL NORRIS ALS GELLING one shilling eight pence which was due to her, being the last part of the legacy which HER FATHER left her, and to get her name crossed out of the books. Item, I leave her in Legacy my new woolen hood. Item, I leave 6 pence legacy apiece to my two SONS JOHN GELLING SENR & JOHN GELLING JUNR both of them living in London. Item, I leave to my GRANDCHILD PAUL GELLING my part of the Dowhorse. Item, I leave to my DAUGHTER IN LAW URSULE GELLING my sad colored petticoat, and 2 yards of small linen cloth, also 2 years of white linsey woolsey already scoured, also my little wheel. Item, I leave to MARY KISSAGE one of my best wearing petticoats and whatever is between her and me, and not to be taxed for it. Item, to MALLY CHRISTIAN a hurden shift. Item, I leave my DAUGHTER MARGARET PARR ALS GELLING as legacy my best suit of apparel in woolen and linen, xxxx above woolen apparel which is left to ISABELE NORRIS. Item, I leave her likewise the big woolen wheel, also as much xxxx or to make her a waistcoat, which came from her self xxx I leave it her again. Item, I leave her a gray xxx blanket. Item, I will that of the 2 cows which my SON PAXXXX hath in his custody, himself to have the choice xxxx and the other to my DAUGHTER MARGARET. Item, I leave xxxx GRANDCHILD ELIN PARR a sheep, to the minister xxxx. Item, I leave to my GODDAUGHTER MARGARET LEWN xxxx which is in the keeping of ROBERT CREER'S WIFE.
