dated 9 March 1681/2: "March ye 9th 1681/2, German: This is affirmed to be ye last will and testament of ELLIN TUBMAN xxxxxx who departed this life in Februarie last.
First she committed her soul to God and her body to Christian burial.
It, to her DAUGHTER ANN xxx sheep & a shute[suit] of clothes.
It, to her GRANDCHILD BESSIE LEESE a kerchief.
It, to ye any yt would claim a part of her goods 6d in legacie.
It, xxxxx minister a mutton.

It, she constituted her SON JOHN & DAUGHTER EL----[?ELLIN, page torn away] her lawful executors of ye rest of her goods moveable & immoveable. Testes: John Crellin juratus, Harrie Bell to be sworn at next Court, John Leece, juratus. JOHN LEECE one of ye Execr at lawfull age is sworn in Court in form of law & to be true to ye other execr who is sick & cannot appear. The Inventory taken according to Law amounts to 1 pound 2 shillings 6 pence. Salvo tamen unving. Suo jure. Probated et solvit 12d. Pledges in form of law Jon. Crellin & Jon. Vinch[?]."
