Peel Public House Licences -
1754 -1781

Transcribed from the Castle Rushen papers in Manx Museum which have recently been sorted and amongst them are the annual list of applications (and approvals) for Public House licences (though not all years appear to have survived) - also are a list of recognocences which are more useful for this period. Those for 1754-1781 are given here - more may be added. They are in the form of an annual list (no consistent order emerges). The entry gives the sequence number in the list.

No location of the property is given.

Note names normalised, - the spellings of the names varies from one year to the next.

1781-1810 & 1820-1858 lists also available

The following names are included - full details on CD_ROM only
