Thomas Kinley to Robt Shimin

Know all men by these presents that I John Kinley of
Knockdoo in the parish of Malew Divers good Causes and
hereunto Moving But more Especially for and in Conside=
=ration of the full and Just Sum of Thirty Nine pounds
ten Shillings Manks Currency to be paid unto me at the
Worshipfull Deemsters Attestation hereof at by and from
Robt Shimin of sd Parish Have Given Granted passed
over and Sold And by these presents Do [obstructed by fold]
Heirs Exrs Admrs and assignes unto him the sd Robt
Shimin his Heirs Exrs Admrs and assignes all the Right Tytle
Interest and property that I now have or hereafter at any
time may might or Could have in and unto a Certain – 
part or parcel of my Estate Situate in the aforesaid parish
Commonlt Called and Known by the Name of Lindes Close
Adjoyning to the Highway that Leadeth from Balla Salla by
Fildsaw on ye West to Robt Bridsons rent on the North
To John Bridsons rent at the River on the East & Wm
Cains rent on the South Being of ye Yearly Abby Rent
of ten pence or thereabouts Be it More or Less – 
To have and to hold to him the sd Robt Shimin his Heirs and
assignes from me the sd John Kinley my Heirs and Assigns
all and singular the premises With all and Every its
appurtenances As Ways Waters Water Courses Easements
Liberties profits Commoditites and Advantages to the 
Same in any wise appertaining or belonging he the[smudged out?]
the sd Robt Shimin his Heirs Exrs and assignes yielding
and paying Yearly and Year the Annual Abby Rent
aforesd with all other Dues Duties Suits and Services
Due and payable our of the premises at the times and
Seasons usuall and accustomed within this Isle and I
the sd John Kinley Do further Covenant and do Bargain and Agree
to and with him the sd Robt Shimin and do Bind my self
my Heirs Exrs and assignes to Warranty the aforesd premisses
and all its appurtenances against all persons Claim or
pretensions to any part thereof and to obtain the Worshipfull
Deemster Attestation with the Honble Courts Confirmation for[obscured by fold]
these presents and to do any further Acts or things that in[obscured by fold]

Law Shall or May be requested.  And for the true and faithful
performance hereof and of all and Singular the Before Mentioned
premises I the said John Kinley Do hereby Bind and Oblige my
Self my Heirs Exrs Admrs and assignes in and under the penalty
and forfeiture of Eighty pounds Sterl to be Levied and – 
paid according to Law as Wittness my Mark to my name, 
this 8th Ocbr 1761

   Thos Bell			John Kinley Acknowledges the
   John Bridson			within and above Bill of Sale
				to be his Voluntary Act and
				Deed, and also to be paid the
				Full Consideration Money

	At an Abbey Court holden at the House of John Redfern near
	Castletown the 23d Octr 1761
The beforegoing Bill of Sale being acknowledged before the Deemster and now openly
published in Court and no Objection offered agt it  The same is therefore allowed off and
Confirmed according to Law –
