Wm Gellin & wife to John Kinley

Know all Men by these Presents that I William
Gellin of Balla Glionneh in the Parish of KK Malew with
the full Consent & Asscent of Isabel Gellin als Bridson my Wife
divers good Causes & Consideration us hereunto moving but more
especially for & in Consideration of the full & just Sum of Forty
one pounds Currency of this Isle to be unto us paid by & from
the hands of John Kinley of KK Arbory Cooper.  Have Given – 
Granted Alienated Pass’d over & Sold And do by these Presents
Give Grant Alienate Pass over & for ever absolutely Sell from us 
the sd William Gellin & Isabel my Wife our Heirs Execrs – 
Admrs & Assignes unto him the sd John Kinley his Heirs Execrs
Admrs & Assignes all the Right Title & Interest that we now
have or hereafter may have in & unto a Parcel of Land commonly
called & known by the Name of Gick’s Land, Reserving to our – 
=selves our Heirs & Assignes the Houses & Gardens upon the
Premises as also the Flat & Injeig ^ being at one End of the Flat ^ adjoining to Thos Cubon,
that on the North side – to the River at the South side – 
to Thos Kelly’s at the North west End & to the highway on
the East End – the whole being of the Yearly Lords Rent of
three Shillings & six pence - & a Part of Quarterland belonging
to Balla Glionneh - & the Parcel aforesd to be of such Lord’s Rent
as shall be Proportioned thereon by the Sett. Enquest – To have
& to hold unto him the sd John Kinley his Heirs Execrs Admrs
& Assignes from us the sd William Gellin & Isabel my Wife
our Heirs Execrs Admrs & Assignes all the aforesd Parcel of
Land with all Ways Waters Watercourses Easements Liberties
Profits & Advantages to the same belonging or any wise
appertaining.  He the sd John Kinley his Heirs & Assignes paying
whatever Yearly Rent shall be Settled thereon with all other – 
Dues Duties Boons Suits & Services incumbent on the Premises.
And for the further Security & awarranting of the Premises
unto the sd John Kinley We the sd William Gellin & Isabel
my Wife do hereby Allow & Empower him the sd John Kinley
to pay off & clear a Mortgage wch Mr Matthew Taubman

of Balla Norris in KK Arbory hath upon the Premises
of twenty seven pounds together with the Interest that – 
may be thereon due & in Arrear – out of the above sd Considera-
=tion Money or Sum of forty one Pounds – he the sd John – 
Kinley Paying unto us the sd William Gellin & Isabel my
Wife the Surplusage or what is Remaining of the abovesd
Sum of forty one Pounds after the abovesd Mortgage with the – 
Interest thereon due is fully discharged – And I the sd
William Gellin & Isabel my Wife do hereby bind & oblige
ourselves to deliver the aforesd Premises into the immediate
Possession of the sd John Kinley & to procure the Wopfull
Deemsters Attestation & the Honble Courts Confirmacon & to – 
Perform whatever else is necessary for his better Security of the –
Premises – For the true & faithful ^ Performance ^ of all & singular
the Premises I the sd William Gellin & Isabel my Wife
do bind & oblige our selves our Heirs Execrs Admrs & Assignes
in Penalty of four score Pounds to be levied according to the Laws & - 
Customs of this Isle – In Testimony whereof We have hereunto
set our hands & Seals this 11th day of Decr 1745 –
