Henry Skillicorn to Thos Fargher

Know all men by these Presents that I Henry Skillicorn of Balarragh
in the parish of Kk Lonnan with the approbation & joynt consent & assent 
of Margt Skillicorn als Fargher my wife, Diverse Good causes and reasons
us hereunto moving, but chiefly and more especially for an in
consideration of the just and Entire sum of one pound fourteen shillings
of Good and Lawful money according to the currency of this Isle. To be paid 
or secured to be paid unto me at the worshipl Deemsters attestation hereof
at, by and from the Hands of Thos Fargher of the Tenemt of sd Balarrgh
in the affordsd Parish, Have Given, Granted, alienated, passed over
Bargained & sold, and by these Presents do Give Grant alienate pass
over Bargain and for ever ab solutely sell ^unto him the sd Thos Fargher^ all & singularour Right
Title Interest & property, we now have or hereafter may or cn have
of in and unto about one half of a Certain Parcel of Intack land
commonly called & distinguished by name the magher Froie or mull-
=agh e Drommey, adjoyning the rent of Wm Quilleish on the north
west, to the rent of John Kelly on the north, north East and to the 
Common road on the south East, The premes scituate in the sd Parish
and of such annual Lords rent as the setting Quest shall proportion
thereon, From us the sd Henry Skillicorn and Margt my wife and our 
Respective heirs Execrs admrs & assigns. To have and to hold
unto him the sd Thos Fargher his heirs Execrs admrs and assigns the
Premes before mentioned and every Individual part, parcel and member
of the same. From and after date hereof forever, Together with all
profits and advantages theeof accrewing and all ways and waters 
and other the appurtenances thereunto the premes belonging or in
any wise appertaining. He the sd Thos Fargher his heirs
Execrs admrs & assigns yielding & paying such rent as shall 
be adjusted thereon as afforesd, and Doing and performing all
other Dues and Duties annually Incumbent upon the premes
at the Times and seasons accustomed, we the sd Henry Skillicorn
and margt my wife obliging our selves to procure the worshipl
Deemster's attestation with the Honourable Courts Confirmation
to these presents, as also to Defend, maintain, uphold & awwarrant
him the sd Thos Fargher his heirs Execrs admrs & assigns in the
peaceable possession of all & singular our Right Title Interest &
property to the before Bargain'd and sold premes against the pretended
Right, Title, Claim or Demand of any person or persons whatsoever
and further to do perform and Effectually, perfect, Execute and finish
any act or Deed wch may at any Time hereafter appear to be 
further necessary or requisite for his the sd Thos Fargher and his
heirs Execrs admrs & assigns better security and sure holding of
the premes for ever as afforesd, bu virtue of these Presents any
Thing to the contrary Notwithstanding. And for the True
and faithful Performance of all and singular the beforegoing
Bill of Sale and every clause and sentence therein Clontained
we the sd Henry Skillicorn & Margt my wife do ehreby firmly
bind and oblige ourselves and each of us and every of our
heirs execrs admrs & assigns in and under the penalty and 
forfeiture of Ten pounds sterling to be Levyed & paid
according to Law. In witness whereof we have [section crossed out]
caused our names & marks to be hereunto set and subscribed
this the 30th Day of Janry in the sixth year of the Reign of
our sovereign Lord George the Third by the Grace of God
of Great Britan France and Ireland King Defender of the
Faith &c  Ano. Dni 1766.

The before going Deed of Sale being acknowledged before the Deemster
by Henry Skillicorn and now openly published in Court and 
no objection offered against it The Same is therefore allowed 
of for and in the name and behalf of the Most oble John
Duke of Atholl and Charlotte Dutches of Atholl Lord and
Lady of the Mannor and Confirmed by this Court
