North Side Sale, May 1786 #34 Andreas

Wm Christian to John Kinley

Know All Men by these presents that I Wm Christian of
Ballayonaigue in the Parish of KK Bride & Mary Christian
Als Allen my wife Divers Good causes us hereunto moving but
chiefly & more especially for & in consideration of the Just Sum
of Forty Pounds & Ten Shillings According to the currency of this
Isle to be Paid or Secured to be paid at the Worshipll Deemster or
High Bailiff Attestation hereof at from & by the Hands of John
Kinley of the Parish of KK Andreas Do give Grant Passover &
Sell And by these Presents do give Grant Passover & forever – 
Absolutely Sell from us our Heirs Exrs Admrs & assigns All &
Singular our right & Title to the west side of the Meadow called &
known by the Name of Ballayonaigue’s Meadow in the parish
of KK Andreas & adjoining to the Lands of Mr John Christian of
Mill Town on the South to the Lands of Saml Kinley & Charles
Cowle on the west to the road leading to John Crebbin’s House on
the north & to a part of the aforesd Meadow which I have this
Day Sold to John Crebbin As the Same is Marked by Holes Made in
the Ground on the East, & as the same is Already Hedged & marked
& of the yearly Lords chief rent of Ten pence half penny with all
ways waters & water courses Easements & Liberties to the Same – 
belonging or in any wise Appertaining .  he the aforesd John Kinley
yielding and paying yearly & every year the sforesd Lords rent
with All other Boons Suits & Services Annually Incumbent on
the before going premisses, And I the aforesd Wm Christian &
Mary Christian Als Allen my wife Do hereby put the aforesd
John Kinley into the immediate & peaceable possession of the
premisses aforesd & to do all other thing or things requisite &
necessary for him the aforesd John Kinley better Security &
sure holding of the premisses aforesd.  And for the true and
faithful performance of all & Singular the beforegoing Deed of Sale

& every thing therein contained I the aforesd Wm Christian &
Mary Christian Als Allen Do hereby bind & oblige ourselves our
Heirs Exrs admrs & assigns in & under the Penalty of Eighty two
Pounds Sterling to be Levied And paid According to the Law and
practice of this Isle ?? As witness our Hands this 21st day of
March 1786

        Andreas Bride & Lezaiyre the 17th May 1786
The before Written Bill of Sale being acknowledged before the High Bailiff of
Ramsey & now openly published in Court & no Objection offered against it, the
Same is therefore allowed of for & in the Name & behalf of the Most Noble
John Duke of Atholl Lord of Mann & the Isles ??? and Confirmed
by this Court
