Lonan Old Deeds

These are my notes and summaries of the various deeds in Lonan Old Deeds - these are a seperate group than the South Side Deeds - there are some 70 of which 48 have so far been examined though 2 are too fragile to open and one is known to be missing (mislaid in Rolls office ?)

The Date is that of the deed (in a few places this is date of filing) the Grantor is the person (or persons) selling or giving the property, the Grantee is the person (or persons) to whom given. The Description is as given . The Value is any price given in deed, the Rent is either Lord's Rent or Abbey rent.

The Court column gives the date in which it passed through a court

Often the wife's maiden name was given - this is shown als xxx;obo = on behalf of
