These properties form a small contiguous group of quarterland most in Kirk Marown with one in adjacent parish of Kk German - for background see J. Manx Museum
There is comment by the court following a request in 1755 by John Taubman, Steward of the Barony of Bangor and Sabal to a jury impanelled to determine a case brought by John Norris re ownership or lease of land.
The court noted:It appearing to this court that there are no rentals of the Barony of St Trinions since the year 1651 and that great errors & confusion are occassioned thereby. It is therefore hereby ordered that the several tenants within this Barony do before the next court day to be holden for the sd Barony procure copys of their own or their ancestors entrys that so a perfect rental or setting book may be made and the entrys of the Tenants be more regular for the future.
