This specialist study is outside of my interests - the Centre for Manx Studies has always had a strong interest in the geology of the Island and their recent findings are expected in the forthcoming Volume 0 of the Millennial History.

The classic text is that of Lamplugh of 1903; a shorter overview was given in 1897; both are now obviously out of date in some respects, T.D.Ford's work is probably the most convenient single work.
