QUALTROUGH GENEALOGIES
New Website
A new website called QUALTROUGH GENEALOGIES (see link below) has been created to include updated genealogies since the book A QUOTA OF QUALTROUGHS by Elizabeth Barlow (now Feisst) and Joy McDougall was published in New Zealand in 1984.(On line at the main QUALTROUGH FMAILY website - see link below)
The site includes/will include the 4 main lineages researched to date plus several other lineages not as yet linked.
Future research includes early Manx records to locate ancestral information with the view to attempt to link as many of the branches as possible.
It is intended the website will be updated on a regular basis or as is necessary.
The layout of the genealogies is in narrative fashion with each main genealogy following the charts as published in A QUOTA OF QUALTROUGHS.One drawback at this point is that the site is not indexed. It is hoped in the future to include some sort of site search engine.
Contact is wanted with anyone researching QUALTROUGH and who would like to share their information.
Also any corrections, alterations and updates are requested.
