the 1841 family and the 1851 family are not the same - there are two Mary Roneys - the 1841 mariner family stayed in Castletown - the Douglas family is not present in 1841 (I too had mistakenly connected the two) but in 1851 Mary a widow with all cghildren born Ireland is sharing a house at 8 Fancy St witrh Wm McMullin and family - he was a mason's labr[oure]r as was your Richard - thje MacMullins appears to have moved to IoM c. 1844 judging from ages of children (his wife was Ellen Harris I think - they were Roman Catholic) - however with Mary was sister Bridget Robinson & nephew James Robinson
