I had a look at the Hanover School log book some years ago, and too was disappointed to find but a few names. I do recall that they were given some time out to watch a car race. This, I think, was in the very early 1900s, remembering it was my grandfather I was looking for. Can't remember the race, but it was very exciting for them all.
