the original registers are at Manx museum - they are currently being indexex prior to filming (I understand most have already been filmed) these digitised images are intended for the fam history centre due to open 2010/2011 (in the Tynwald debate it was stated that the images would NOT be available outside of that centre) - in 1911 the parish registers were transcribed - this official transcription forms the basis of pre civil reg certificates - this copy was filmed by the mormons and can be borrowed (see manxnotebook for film numbers) - it is a very very good transcription
