The school of this name no longer exists. Two mixed
schools were created one called Ballakermeen High School
[11---18 ] in the building of that name. The second uses
Park Road School building , the former base of the High
School for Girls, as its lower school[ for 11---13] & St
Ninian's building [former upper school Boys' base ] is used
as the upper school for the senior years.
There is no connection whatsoever with St Ninian's C of
E church across the street--- that name was used
for the boys upper building & is now the name of the
other Douglas school----St Ninian's High School.
