This query is connected to my posting of 10th November, re Whitford/Jones.
My gt.gt.grandfather, son of Richard and Charlotte Whitford nee Jones, was Robert Henry Whitford born 1814 Liverpool, and on 41/51 and 61 census he has living with him and his family a SUSAN GARRETT born Warrington - I haven't until now been able to connect the surname Garrett to the family.

Noted on posting by Eric on 12th, that Paul Gelling possibly married an ELIZABETH GARRETT in 1802.

1841 - Ho107/563/11/21 -
Susan aged 64, GT.AUNT - born in the county.

1851 - Ho107/2177/42/76 -
Susan, unmarried GT.AUNT - aged 75, born Warrington.

1861 -RG9/2653/79/18 -

Susan, unmarried - 86 - G.T.GT.AUNT, born Warrington.

Susan died 1866 in Liverpool.

Does anyone having any information on Elizabeth Garrett's family; this may help me find out who Susan Garret born c 1775 Warrington is.

I have look on parish records for St.Elphinus, Warrington, but they didn't start until after this date!
