I've had an email asking for help and I can't think of anyone else better to ask than members on here.
The few details I have is as follows and I did note a few Dorans in the search records, but nothing pointing directly to Hugh.

Hugh Doran, born Portaferry, County Down in 1820 /1821 and arrived in the IOM between 1830 to 1847. In 1847 he married an Isabella Lace in Rushen.

I can say that the late Geoffrey Kinley who passed away in the year 2000 travelled to Northern Ireland in order to trace him but other than that, I have no further information.
