John Casement was almost certainly the second child and eldest son of Robert Casement and Susannah als Burne.
In 1793, John Casement and his wife Jane als Kinley were appointed administrator's of Jane's mother Elizabeth (als Skillicorn)'s Estate, but declined in favour of Jane's Father Phillip Kinley [see Lawson site Wills].

In 1908 John Casement was left a "Stock of Bees" by his father Robert (again Lawson Site Wills).

John's grandson Robert (s/o John b.1792) built the Laxey Wheel.
