I am not related to Eva Shimmin but a friend of mine also named Shimmin is.
He tells me that they had three children, two daughters and a son. The son ran the butchers shop after his father died.
The son and one of the daughters are now dead, but the other daughter Hazel is still alive and lives in Scotland and my friend still keeps in touch with her.
