Home for the Poor

This has probably been asked before, but does anyone know if case notes or details of death would have been archived concerning someone who died in the Home for the Poor in 1916 and was buried in Braddan? If so, where would they have been kept and would they be accessible? The person in question died aged only 35, and 5 years earlier, in the 1911 census, was employed and living at home with his mother and 3 younger brothers, all working, and who all survived him. I'm wondering how he came to be in the Home for the Poor.
