I am researching Kewish and have a William Kewish b14 Dec 1788 married to Catherine Cowley on 11 Dec 1824.
OR
William Kewish b 14 Aug 1803 married to Catherine Cowley on 11 Dec 1824.
All from Parish of Lezayre.
WHICH ONE IS CORRECT?
Also need Catherine's parents?
Hoping someone help. Thank you.

In Response To: kewish/cowley (Keryn Mounsey)

if you look at 1841 census wm is 50 a pensioner (?from army) - Cath appears to be a widow in 1851 ; there is a burial of a Wm kewish Lezayre 18430429 age 53

**************

----- tells you that the age of 50 given by William in 1841 works out at an approximate birth year of 1791.

The burial information tells you that William was 53 when he died on the 29th April 1843. This is consistent with the Lezayre baptism of the William Kewish on 14 Dec 1788, to Michael Kewish and Anne Wade. This is the only WK Lezayre baptism in the IGI which matches your William who married Cath Cowley.
