Re: Frances Keed nee Caveen
In Response To: Frances Keed nee Caveen ()

Frances Keed was the daughter of Thomas and Mary Caveen. Her brothers were James and Thomas Caveen, her sisters were Catherine, Emma, Mary, Martha and Elizabeth. Catherine died young, Mary married George Sharp, Emma died in 1884 - unmarried, Martha married a Rothwell and I have two different names from the family for Elizabeth's husband -one a Major Law and one a James Boyde.

James married Agnes Shimmon and was a farmer in Laxley. He had seven children, some of whom emigrated to Canada amongst other places.

Thomas became a publican, married Sarah Jane Bell in Liverpool, had five children and managed amongst other places the Sefton Arms in Liverpool and the Lulworth Cove Hotel in Dorset. Thomas died the same year as his father Thomas, 1913 and is buried in Lulworth cemetory. It is through Thomas that we are related to the Caveens.
