Thank you Frances, i now recall the cottage and will take a walk out there as i am going to Glen vine any way to feed the robin and duck,
Just a thought though on william cox, when he arrived over here , he must of first lived in Douglas 1894 and then later moved as 1901 rose cottage and 1910 ballagary cottage marown in which is Glen vine, so maybe he lived at 3 wellinton street t the same time using it as his place of work, i know someone at museum told me he would have lived uniom mills and worked douglas, but in 1899 he is said to be in union mills and census 1901 say uniom mills,,,
