Hello Noel,

The Maughold register was held at the church until a few years ago when Tom Corteen checked an entry there for me. It was an entry I had queried because Tom's transcript from the register differed from the one I had transcribed from the official copy on film (he was right - he sent me a photocopy). He was a meticulous transcriber.
The register may have been moved to the MM in recent years.

This is what Tom wrote for the marriage (he didn't usually include witnesses):
18 Dec 1860
Thomas CALLOW, Full age, Bachelor, Shoemaker, Andreas, [father] Robert Callow, Farmer, and
Jane MOORE, Full age, Spinster, Maughold, [father] James Moore, Farmer.

I am happy to look up further Maughold records for you, or anyone else.
