Thank you for this Donna; I do have the particulars you mention, however, I was hoping there was an MI for Simon & Jane (Senior).

One question only - what was your source for the place of birth for Simon b. 1790 (Hoddam, Dumfrieshire)? I spent almost 4 years attempting to determine where in Scotland Simon was born, only to finally eliminate the Hoddam, Dunfrieshire possibility, and (thought) I had determined he was born in Edinburgh..... If you can clarify this for me I would be very grateful.
