My grandfather was the schoolmaster at Foxdale, certainly in 1911 (from the census), and up until 1915 when my mother was born. Shortly after this, I believe, they moved to Wales. I wondered if anyone could find any reference to him in the school log books prior to this time, which I think are held in the Manx Library. In 1901 he was in Leeds and I would love to know when he moved to the Isle of Man. I would also love to know why but that's probably unanswerable! If anyone could help me with this I would be most grateful.
