my name is gilbert harold kelly. i live in marlborough, wiltshire and am the son of harold ernest kelly, who is the son of hemsley kelly........who is the descendent of a colonel james kelly, who left IOM to join the British Army. he was eventually stationed in Goa, where he married a Goanese Indian woman. they settled in Mauritius and had a family. Colonel James Kelly eventually died and is buried on Rodriguez Island in the Indian Ocean.
I am unsure if my family is related to yours, but the similarity of names prompted me to write to you.
