James Kelly's parentage

I'm trying to find the parents of James Kelly, born 1824 or 1825 or 1826, depending on which source you rely on.
James Kelly married the sister of my maternal great-grandfather on 28/09/1824. She was born Margaret Browne, from Ardglass Co. Down in approx 1826. I can find records of them living in Willow Terrace, Port St. Mary, most of Willow Terrace (4 houses) being occupied by Kelly relations, - and also "The Quay"

I am seeking this information for my "32nd " cousin relation in Australia (My mother used this "32nd" phrase to describe relations who had blood ties maybe50 - 100- 150- 200 years back. My" 32nd" cousin is Linda Leslie in Australia, where a number of of the Browne and Kelly descendants emigrated to, (family trees up to this day).

I can find a marriage between John Kelly-(Rushen) and Jane Maddrell, Malew,- in Malew on 17/07 1824, according to records James Kelly was born on 06//06/1824 to this couple. This is what Linda Leslie has been told told by another person researching the family tree.

Somehow their children's names do not ring true, there is no mention of a John or Jane in the Christian names of James Kelly and Margaret's (Browne) children, Most people named their cildren after themselves.

Names to look out for.......
Paul Tonkin Kelly, b. 1863 to James and Margaret Kelly.
Paul Tonkin Roberts Kelly. b. 14/01/1893 died at Dunkirk 1940. father William Kelly, mother Ann Cotton Roberts, originally from Newlyn, Cornwall.

"Tonkin" is such an unusual name . Has anyone any ideas where it came from?
I and my 32nd cousin would love to have contact from any descendants of the above mentioned names.

My best regards to all of my nameless friends and researchers who have helped me so brilliantly in the past.
