I had been looking at an Index of James Wood's Atlas & Gazetter in the Isle of Man as at 1867. It had said James Quirk , Cregneash, Treen/Intack with Pt. Cregneash as Qtrid/Intack# The Parish being Rushen, with Plan # 150 with an area of numbers 52 0 15.

It was my understanding that there were definitely Quirks in Cregneish in the 1870's as a g grandmother of mine was one. I had wondered if there were more as my finding a paper trail of her has been exhausting. :)
