Cooils of Ronague.

Can anyone help please?
My gt.grandfather was William Cooile he was christened in Arbory on 26/03/1844. His parents ar given as Richard Cooile and Anne Comish, they married "about"1828. Anne was born "about" 1807, died 11/01 1885.
I am always suspicious when I see "about" on the I.G.I. records. I know that sometimes parents would get several children christened at once if they lived a long way from the church or chapel, also, a christening would be delayed because the father was away at the fishing. I now have four Richards, a Richard who was christened on 1115/09 1802,in Arbory, parents Thomas Coole and Catherine Clark/Cubbon. Richard, christened 09/10/1803, parents J.Coole and Christian Quirk, then two different Richards in 1806 who I think are unconnected.
Please, does anyone have any ideas how I find out which Richard is the one I am looking for? I would love to get back a further geneation , as next week I am going to the Wirral to celebrate Mabel Cooils 100th birthday, she has always been' interested in genealogy and although she is only a Cooil by marriage she is very proud to be a Cooil - Coole/Cooil//Cooile.
Any help would be much appreciated, thank you
Regards,Susan Leece.
