I was looking through some Santon MIs and came across this one:

"Here repose the remains of the Reverend Thomas Kewley, seven years Vicar of the Parish, who died the 12 April 1865, aged 39 years. This tomb is erected by the parishoners as a memorial of [their] esteem and affectionate regard for him as a minister and a man, and their sincere regret at his early decease."

I looked for a Thomas Kewley in his 30s in the 1861 census and couldn't find a suitable one. I thought it might help establish which parish he came from and whether his wife Margaret Ann was still alive.

Can anyone else find him ?
